Shipmates and all those that attended the reunion in Las Vegas this month. It was late Friday (the 10th) before I finally woke up from pure exhaustion.
First I want to praise and thank my wife who for nearly 43 years has been my love and helper. Without her the reunion would not have been the success that it was, as proclaimed by all attendees. I also want to thank all those that pitched in and assisted me in getting things done as well as my daughter who kept the food flowing for all.
There isn’t much more to add except a giant thanks to everyone. I believe that from all the comments that everyone had a terrific time and if you missed it the you missed a great reunion. As it stands, it was a success in many ways. The financial end has yet to be settled and that will take several weeks for everyone to be taken care of. The seed money of $1000 has already been returned and I know that the balance will be on the plus side.
