Naval Weather Service Association (NWSA)

An association of Aerographers & Mates,
Meteorologists & Oceanographers

As of 23 June

IMPORTANT! If you are already signed up,
you must pay the balance before 30 December 2022!

Reunion #47 is set! It will be a time for NWSA to go on a pleasure cruise (as opposed to a gray ship deployment). Through the combination of excellent timing, current cruise line sale prices, and Patti Straten’s extensive cruise-planning knowledge and bargaining skills — we have an extraordinary opportunity, so we grabbed it!

Here is the gouge:

Ship: Celebrity Summit
Port: Miami
Dates: 30 March - 3 April 2023 (4 nights)
Current scheduled itinerary: Miami — Key West — Bahamas — Miami
Price: $674.25 per military person, double occupancy ($1348.50 per couple). Single occupancy military is $1213.25. Rooms can be made up as two twin beds, so singles may wish to pair up. Prices only good through 30 November.

If friends or family book, and they do not have a military ID, they may have to pay $874.25 per person.

The price includes: Taxes, port fees, gratuities, drink package, internet package, veranda (balcony) staterooms, a group meeting room, and an onboard group-dedicated concierge.

Phone number to call: 888-727-4907
Group ID number: 6453968

What do you need to do? Sign up to reserve a stateroom immediately. This locks you in for the outstanding price. You do have to pay a $200.00 deposit when you sign up. If, for whatever reason, you decide to cancel before 30 Dec 22, the $200 is fully refunded.

So, if you think there is even a slight possibility that you can join us, call and reserve your stateroom now. You are risking
absolutely nothing. If you have to change your mind, you will have your $200 deposit fully refunded.

Call Celebrity at 888-727-4907. Press #3 for existing groups. Give the agent our group number — 6453968. (Make sure you get the $100 per person military discount. It should be automatic, but make sure.)

You will need the names and birth dates for both occupants. You will need a current passport. If you need a new one, or if yours needs to be renewed, start working on that as well. It isn’t exactly a speedy process.

If you have any questions at all, ask me. (Then I’ll ask Patti and we’ll get you the answer.)
